Description

Course Description Icon

Once a student understands number systems and maybe converting between some.  Now they will learn to convert from any number system to any other number system.

A Summary

Minimum Grade Best for students 4th grade and up
Complexity Level Hard
Length 20 minutes / Class
Subject Area Convert from one number system to other

Target Audience

4th Grade

Students attending this class MUST know their multiplication tables. Understanding base conversation requires multiples of numbers. Example

2 x 2 = 4

4 x 2 = 8

8 x 2 = 16

16 x 2 = 32, etc

And that is just for one of the basis. If the student is not a fan of math, this class might be a cause of frustration.

Testing?

YES.  This lesson will have a test. Students will have team competitions to do their calculations. It will be a fun challenge.
