  • Andrew Towl

Known by his students as: "Mr Andrew"

The Jack of all artistic trades.  Mr Andrew is Computational Thinkers first and only 2D/3D freelance art generalist, Indie Augmented Reality game developer and best of all, Blender and 3D Graphics Instructor. When he is not working on the newest tech trends with Blender he is dabbling on building a new AR game.

Here is a small sampling of some of his works:

  • April Tierney

Known by her students as: "April"

Hello, I'm April! I love teaching and have been at it for more than 17 years. I have a Master's degree in education and have taught students of all ages. I have been teaching online for more than 3 years now and have taught students from more than 50 countries!

I live in the Midwest United States with my husband, daughter, and two cats who think they are dogs. I like geocaching, reading, roller skating, traveling, board games, animals, and acting. A fun fact about me- I collect coffee cups and my favorite one is shaped like a llama. (It's amazing.)

I love connecting and laughing with my students, and I can't wait to see you in class!

  • Christina Sanders

Known by her students as: "Ms. Christina"

Christina has been working with students for over 17 years as a tutor and full time teacher. She is lover of math, Rubik's cubes, knitting, and the outdoors!

  • Clint Morris

Known by his students as:  "Mr Clint"

Machine learning, Deep learning and Big Data researcher.  Mr. Clint is a Machine Learning Graduate Assistant at Georgia Tech Research Institute in the Electro-Optical Systems Laboratory (EOSL) and the Electronic Warfare Modeling and Analysis Division (EWMAD).

  • Janis McDavid

Known by her students as: "Ms. Janis"

Most people wouldn't know that Chadwick Boseman, the actor known as Black Panther, was my cousin. It makes me sad to say that in past tense because I still can't believe he's gone. An interesting thing to know is that I met Chad when I was in school at Howard University. Although we are from a small town place in South Carolina where everybody knows everybody, and we are related, I didn't meet him until I was at school in Washington, DC. We were cousins but we became friends. I miss him dearly and his words will never leave me. "Purpose is the essential element of you."

I love teaching! I have been teaching for 10 years. I am passionate about STEM and believe students should learn the skills needed to see them into a bright career.

When not in front of students, I get to play with LEGOs! I train teachers how to use LEGO robotics in their own classrooms!
I am also a mom of 4 children- one in college, two in high school and one in middle school. When not teaching I love to spend time traveling, hiking, scuba diving and being in nature!
